Phil is a Kombi owner and fan with a background in project management and client engagement who now gets to share his passion with others.
Marie is a talented Graphic Designer with Marketing experience who now gets to work with clients and help make their Branding vision a reality.
Ziggy is the boss.

Its important to us that The Pop-Up Kombi looks as beautiful and feels as solid as it was when it left the factory way back in the early fifties, just a little shorter maybe… No corners were cut throughout the build, metal was reworked and welded, most of the original parts were painstakingly restored and reused.

The Pop-up Kombi Story
Whilst renovating his 76 VW camper Phil came across some rusted out 1950’s split screen cabs sections.
He knew he wanted to save these wrecks and give them a new lease of life, but had no idea exactly what to do with them.
After years of head scratching the Pop-Up Kombi concept was eventually born. So followed more years of trial and error whilst two Kombi sections were joined and re-engineered for a reimagined purpose.
